[ RELEVANCE ]
Ischemia Modified Albumin is also called Human serum albumin. Human serum
albumin is the most abundant protein in human blood plasma. It is produced in
the liver. Albumin constitutes about half of the blood serum protein. It is soluble
and monomeric. Albumin is synthesized in the liver as preproalbumin, which has
an N-terminal peptide that is removed before the nascent protein, released from
the rough endoplasmic reticulum. It has a molecular mass of 67 kDa. Human
albumin is often used to replace lost fluid and help restore blood volume in
trauma, burns and surgery patients. A Cochrane systematic review of 37 trials
found no evidence that albumin, compared with cheaper alternatives such as
saline, reduces the risk of dying.
[ ANTIBODY SPECIFITY ]
The antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against IMA. It has been
selected for its ability to recognize IMA in immunohistochemical staining and
western blotting.

Content: The quality control contains native protein IMA disposed in loading
buffer.
Usage: 10uL per well when 3,3'-Diaminobenzidine(DAB) as the substrate.
5uL pe r well when used in enhan ced chemilumes cent (ECL ).
Note: The quality control is specifically manufactured as the positive control.
Not used for other purposes.
Loading Buffer: 100mM Tris(pH8.8), 2% SDS, 200mM NaCl, 50% glycerol, BPB 0.01%, NaN3 0.02%. [ STORAGE ]

oC for frequent use. Stored at -20oC in a manual defrost freezer for one
